Early Morning Club

Parents of children who attend Tennyson Road Infant School will be able to bring their Junior siblings to school from 8:30am to take advantage of a NEW provision. These children will need to be taken to the Lower Hall via the Memorial Garden gate where they will join the Ealy Morning Club which will be supervised by Breakfast Club staff along with the children attending Breakfast club until 8:45am when they will go into class. (Breakfast will not be provided unless attending Breakfast Club- £2.00 per session).

Parents who need to drop children off earlier than 8:45am for work purposes and who do not have siblings at Tennyson Road, will need to bring the children to the Lower Hall via the Memorial Garden gate to join the Early Morning Club along with the Breakfast Club children. No children will be allowed onto the playground until the gates open at 8:45am. There will be a charge of 50p per morning session for your chld to attend the Early Morning Club, which is supervised by staff, until they go through to their classes at 8:50am.

The Early Morning Club will provide colouring, reading books and games for children to play, whilst they are waiting for classrooms to be opened.

If you would like your child/children to attend the early Morning Club, a permission slip will need to be signed. Attendance will be required to be notified for the half term, so that the school is aware of which children will be attending each morning.

If you have any questions or queries concerning this, please contact the School Office.

We run a healthy tuck shop which takes place every day during morning break times.  It is popular with both the children and also the staff.  Our year 6 monitors prepare and sell our produce.  We sell a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as dried fruit and rice cakes.  Our prices range from 5p to 20p an item.  If you would like your child to purchase something from our healthy tuck shop, please send them in with a small amount of money.  We look forward to serving more children with healthy snacks.

Children can bring a packed lunch to eat in school at lunchtime or they can have a pre-ordered hot meal.

Each year group eats their lunch in the hall under supervision.

We are delighted to be able to offer your child a nutritious and balanced hot school meal. Hot meals need to be ordered in advance and we have partnered with Live Kitchen to order meals and enable online secure payments to be made.
